Mime In Education

Presented by Drama Studio teachers Julie and Louise.

Embedded activities include writing, drawing and discussion.

The video lessons are split in two - for Lower and Upper Primary.

Mime is the most natural and instinctive form of communication. When used within Education it is an excellent interactive technique for learning, accessible to all children regardless of age or ability.

It is a controlled activity which will help to focus, intrigue and engage your students in a creative way that pulls them in and inspires everyone across the ages, easing back to school anxieties.

In this video lesson the students are introduced to mime through simple introductory exercises and then into storylines that encourage their creativity.

Every class will have their own unique take on the content which can include writing, picture stories, artwork, making video and audio clips.

Importantly at the moment, the practical activities can be distanced for teachers from their students who have no need to touch each other.
