CAN BE USED IN A CLASSROOM SETTING
This lesson is a dramatisation of a Norse myth. Students will consider the creative and perhaps more spiritual side of norse peoples, the qualities of the characters in their stories, treasured objects and what they represented. This is The Legend of The Lay of Thrym, a magical story that will fire the students' imaginations.
Using group work, paired activity the story is broken down so that the class can experiment with the characters. The students could develop the story into a class play as an extension.
