This lesson take the students on a guided tour of Scotland. It draws on the students' knowledge and has fun with it.
It's suitable for for age 8-10 mostly or a less able older class studying Scotland.
There are ample opportunities for creative input from the students and teachers and introduces dramatic tension in the form of a kidnapping.
Key drama skills are configuration mime,improvisation, point of tension,interviewing and reporting, problem-solving.
The students will use imagination and creativity while using their one knowledge consolidating learning and becoming confident in improvisation and presentation.
